Osi and Sheridan Having Difficulties

Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora left the team on Monday following a disagreement with new defensive coordinator Bill Sheridan. Apparently, Sheridan criticized Osi for making a mistake in the preseason loss against the Jets on Saturday.
It seems as though he did not take this well, as he felt the need to leave the Giants practice facility without letting anybody know. According to a source, Umenyiora believes that Sheridan has been contradicting himself.
Needless to say, the two sides have not gotten off to a good start together for the beginning of the season. Hopefully this situation does not manifest itself into a problem or else the Giants defense will suffer.
Moss Frustrated on the Bench

During last nights preseason loss against the Jets, Sinorice Moss did not play longer than any of his wide receiver teammates. In fact, the first appearance of the game from Moss did not come until midway through the 3rd quarter, when he returned a kickoff for 25 yards.
In the fourth quarter, Moss also went out into the field to return a punt, but he ended up letting the kick go past him anyway. Even wide receiver Derek Hagan played longer then Moss last night, which may be an indication of where the Giants coaching staff is heading.
On a better note, rookie receiver Hakeem Nicks scored two touchdowns in the 2nd half of last night’s game, showing promise in another successful draft pick for the Giants.
Jets vs. Giants Review

Giants fans, it was an exciting game, but a lot of things could’ve gone better. This may not seem like much of a surprise to you, but the problem was the receivers. A lot of big plays could’ve been made if the rising receivers hadn’t of dropped the passes. Did you see that one beauty thrown by Eli that would’ve been awesome? Eli did a great job, but they need to just keep practicing and practicing for the upcoming season.
What did you think?
