Coughlin is the right man

After looking at this post over from our friends at BigBlueView.com, “Tom Coughlin is the right man for the job“, I’m going to have to step in and agree with Ed on this one. When looking at the Giants right now, it is easy to just point the finger at the head coach and put all the blame on him. However, this is one of those situations where we cannot do that. We’ve been down this road before. Do I have to remind any of you about the 2006 season? During the offseason, all the Giants fans wanted Coughlin and Gilbride gone. What happened the next year? Did we not win the Super Bowl?
Coughlin lead this team to a 6-0 start, but things happen. He’s not going anywhere, and he shouldn’t be either. A lot of things didn’t go our way, and we just didn’t have the momentum and all the fire we needed in order to come in yesterday to take the game.
